Homebound residents of Morgan County, we are proud to be a member of Meals on Wheels America that delivers nutritious meals to local residents who are 60+. If you are home, Senior Life Services of Morgan County, Inc. provides this service to those in need through the Home Delivered Meals Program. This option allows those who are unable to leave the home have access to delicious, nutritious meals. These are tasty meals that require no preparation. We welcome you to apply for yourself or a loved one who could benefit from this nutrition program in our area.

Do I Qualify for Home Delivered Meals?

Local residents who are 60 and better can qualify for this Home Delivered Meals Program. This valuable meal program offers at least five meals per week for eligible individuals. To receive meals, you must:

1. Be over 60 years of age
2. Be homebound** (unable to eat meals at our senior centers) and unable to meet basic nutritional needs** either temporarily or long term
3. Have no other reliable means of obtaining your daily meals
4. Reside in our service area (Morgan County, WV,)

**Homebound: Unable to leave the home without considerable difficulty and/or assistance. A person may leave home for medical treatment or short/infrequent absences for non-medical reasons, such as a trip to the barber or to attend religious services, etc.

**Unable to meet basic nutritional needs: Unable to prepare/have difficulty preparing at least one nutritious meal daily because of physical or mental limitations, or unable to obtain/have difficulty obtaining necessary food.

A suggested contribution per meal is calculated based on income; however, no one is turned away due to inability to pay.
