Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) helps with heating expenses for eligible residents in Morgan County, West Virginia.
The Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) is federally-funded to help bring down costs of eligible individuals in West Virginia. If you are on a fixed income or are a low-income family, you can apply for assistance to help with energy bills. The program helps to offset costs with payments made directly to the utility company.
Households experiencing a heating emergency may be eligible for emergency crisis assistance through this program, as well.
All residents who need financial assistance and pay for their own heating expenses are eligible. You must be enrolled in one of the following social service programs to be considered:
