We are happy to provide local residents who are 60 and better access to the West Virginia Department of Agriculture’s Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP). This supplies local low-income seniors with vouchers to purchase fresh produce grown in the area.
Farmers Market Vouchers may be used for fresh, locally-grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey at local, participating Farmers Markets.
You are eligible for Farmers Market Vouchers from Senior Life Services of Morgan County, Inc. if you are a resident of Morgan County, are 60 or better, and meet income guidelines.
Please request Framers Market Vouchers from Senior Life Services of Morgan County, Inc. by stopping by in July to sign up for the vouchers. Once available, we will post a notice in the Morgan Messenger, on our Facebook page and our website.
Farmers Market Nutrition Program Vouchers can be used for locally grown fruits and vegetables at local, participating farmers markets throughout the state of West Virginia.
For more information or to sign up for the Farmers Market Vouchers, call Senior Life Services of Morgan County at (304) 258-3096.
